Real wood is my favorite outdoor furniture, and if I can’t afford Teak, which is one of the best, then I would go for Western Red Cedar. And it smells good too! Thanks for your informative article.

I do love metal outdoor furniture. If you’ve already got metal, these are great tips. But, if you don’t want to deal with rust, or sitting on hot furniture in the summer, you could try natural cedar wood furniture. I have both, they each have thier value.

Teak is expensive, but it is the best wood material for outdoor furniture. Western Red Cedar is the runner-up to the best, and can be gotten a little cheaper. But you must compare cost per year, as both of these woods will last for decades.
For metal furniture, I agree iron is good, but has drawbacks as you mentioned. Stainless steel is a good choice, but price might be high.
