From time to time you are going to need to ensure that your hot tub stays in top working order by purchasing additional hot tub supplies. A cover for your hot tub is important, to help protect it and to keep out any dirt and debris. Additionally, a cover can help discourage neighborhood kids or your own wandering youngster from dangerously trying to get in. Covering up your hot tub is a necessary precautionary measure. 

Water Treatment

Just as pools need chemicals to keep the water safe and clean, so do hot tubs. You can use chlorine tablets which will kill bacteria and provide a sanitary environment. It’s also important to have water testing kits available. This will tell you the levels of any harmful bacteria as well as of the chemicals themselves, to ensure that the hot tub is safe to enter.

Some people panic when their hot tub heater breaks down, thinking they need to buy an entirely new tub. But you can actually just purchase a replacement heater that matches the hot tub that you have. While a heater replacement may seem somewhat obvious, if other issues arise you should be aware of all of the parts your hot tub uses and contains, so you can adequately repair or replace them.
